Ls1/sm-465 and Novak hyd slave, what headers?

What kind of headers can I run? I can get a set of edelbrock shorty headers for a late model truck. Will they work with the slave setting where it does.

Also, for my next question. If i have to use block huggers, What motor mounts to use without interfering with the block hugger headers. Trans dapt? AA headers say they are made for truck shorties and interfere with car headers but do they work with block huggers. Novak cost more but may have to use them.
