I'll be frank, but you can call me Bob - an Army retiree, a non-native, and someone that chose Tucson over living anywhere else in the world - your comment didn't bother me.

Godforsaken is an idiom, albeit a strong way to comment, but no p, and in no reasonable way should a non-overly-sensitive person be caught up thinking that a stranger on the internet was personally commenting on their religion.

That's my opinion. God's a big boy and as a supreme, omnipotent being can take care of him or herself, doesn't need you, me or someone else as a sack of flesh stuck in pinpoint of time and space sticking up for him or her.

If God is a god, then we should stop acting as if he or she is an eggshell instead of a mighty knight in supernatural armour, haha.

Anyway, cheers.

There are many beautiful areas around Arizona in general and Tucson in particular. You can do Reddington Pass as noted earlier or head up and over Mount Lemmon. You can head east near the New Mexico border for beautiful pine forests or head south for nice desert runs. The central part of the state and the Mogollon Rim is a great mix of high desert and pine forests as well. If that’s not your fancy, there are some great trails in the northern part of the state in and around Monument Valley.

Welcome to my state and thank you for your service to our country.
No offense intended. I got hemmed up the other night for playin around in a river bed on the backside of reddington. I will definitely checkout the trails you mentioned. And thank you for your service as well.
