2012 Wrangler Unlimited Rubi headed to Morocco

Hi everyone,

Just wanted to share our upcoming Jeep adventure. My sister and I will be competing in the 23rd Rallye Aicha des Gazelles in Morocco in March. The Gazelle Rally is a 9 day, all women's off road competition where success is based on traveling the fewest kilometers between 50+ checkpoints. No GPS, cell phones or support crews are permitted, navigation is old school - outdated maps, a compass and a ruler. After competing in a rented H3 last year, we knew we wanted to go back with our own truck. Lots of research (thanks for the help here!) led to the 2012 Wrangler and we're so excited that it being built for us by American Expedition Vehicles to handle the tough terrain of Southern Morocco. Follow the Jeep build and the adventure on Facebook .
