TOKKIE Most of the forest service road are open to wheeling(as long as gate is not locked). If you go to any of the forest service station you can ask for a map of the forest service roads.

Logging or Fire trails in NorCal.

Hello Jeepers,
Is there any logging or fire trails to ride in NorCal? I have been going to Hollister for years now but need some low profile logging/desert trail to ride. Basically, no pavement but regular mud and dirt trail without too much technical stuff…just cruz. For example a dirt trail to go from North Tahoe to south Tahoe. Please no Rubicon, my jeep is far from ready for that kind of abuse.
I will be going alone, so no complicated stuff that can break my Jeep. Just enjoy a day out in desert or mud trail.
Range: 50-100 mile
Let me know what you have come across....
