DevilDogDoc I would start with the headlight switch, they do all kinds of stupid stuff. Clean the contacts and whatnot.

Dirt play'd with the dimmer knob, nothing...

any other thoughts before I start tearing apart my dash?

DevilDogDoc My headlight switch is jacked, I have discovered that if I turn the knob like I am dimming the display it will turn off the dash lights altogether. Mine will only work on full bright or it turns them off. Doesn't bother me enough to buy a new switch. Give the knob a twist, it's free!!!

Dash lights out, any ideas?

My dash lights suddenly stopped working, I checked the fuses behind the glove box, all are fine. played with the headlight knob...

Just looking for a starting point before I rip everything apart and make an 8 hour project out of something that 'could' be simple.

Thanks.
