Allstar I bought one 2 days ago for my money pit also. From what I can gather, The spring perches will have to be moved and you will need the flange from an explorer drive shaft to hook up your shaft to the rearend. I know there is more but I'm having mine done cause I'm re-gearing to 4.88's. Type in Ford 8.8 in the forum search and you'll get tons of info........Good Luck

jeeper95yj I found one through a salvage yard with 4:10 gears and am picking it up Saturday for $250. Any advice on swapping this with my Dana 35 and parts/ adjustments that I will need to make are appreciated!!

Swapping an 8.8 Rear End

How hard is it and is there any additional parts, changes, what has to be done to instal it. And can I install it myself?
