TJWenatchee You really should go for the sailcloth. That's what I have on my Trektop NX. Very durable.

Beastmaster I'd go with the Bestop Supertop and wouldn'y worry about the cover.

But that's just me.

In the mean time . . .

Refurbing 97 Wrangler Sport...advice?

Hi all,

I've got a 97 Wrangler. She was my fathers. He passed away 3 years ago. In the spirit of Dad, she's been resurrected, and for obvious reasons has great sentimental value. I just started working on her this past week. She needs a lot of work but now that I've had the cpm replaced at least she runs. Going to start with a a paint job and a new soft top. Thinking about going with a Bestop replacement top and using the existing this the best choice and if so, is the sail cloth worth the extra $? Since I live in So. Fla I was thinking it might be wise to invest in a cover as well since I don't have a garage. What do you guys think? Also, does anyone in my area know of a local place to go check out used Jeep parts? By the way my dad used to come on here daily. He really enjoyed this forum. His name was Jack. He would get a kick out of me being on here. Anyway, any advice would be great. Thanks!
