scotiez Thanks everyone for your advice. I decided i couldn't wait any longer to get my fluids changed. I was gona wait till summer and get the right tools and stuff to do it myself, but i really just don't have the place and equipment to do it correctly. I made an appointment at the Fargo Jeep dealer, and i went there this morning to get the fluids changed in my front and rear diff, Transfer case, and Manual transmission. They originally quoted me $290.00 for everything. When i paid for it it was $204.00. I asked them what they forgot and they did everything, Just when they gave me a quote it was for an automatic trans instead of the manual. I'm pretty happy now that i have everything done. Now im ready for spring to come.

foxinthemudd rear diff and even front diff (if you wanted)75W-90 is what is reccomended, I used 75W-190 (I think thats what I just used.) works great. as far as tranny goes I would use redline mt-90 its been great to me since I did mine, a little spendy but worth it. good price at your local napa store too. don't know what to tell ya about the transfer case hopefully someone else will chime in soon.

fluids change

Hey everyone.
Well today i was gona make an appointment to get my front and rear diff., Transfer Case, and Transmission fluids all changed. I had called the local dealer cause i thought that since they sell jeeps that they would be ok to take my stuff there.
I asked what the cost would be and just for the front and rear diff., and transfer case it was $280.00. and the Transmission would be extra since that has special fluid in it. I thought this price was crazy. I'll just wait till a nice summer day and do it all myself.
Would you guys put synthetic fluids in, or would you put in the mopar brand fluids.

I have the NV3550 for a transmission, Dana 30 for front, and Dana 35 for the rear axles.
for the Transmission i was thinking of putting in Royal Purple synchromax, Im not sure what to put in for the axles and T-case. would like your opinions on what to put in. The owners manual is pretty plain on what goes in these. they just stay mopar approved fluids.
