Ya I found just the actuator pin for sale after my tech rig up my new switch because he gave me back the old broken one so then I knew what to look for. If I want to go back to the normal pin set up Im going to have to order an ignition switch anyway because he epoxy'd the turn knob into the switch. It shouldnt be the clockspring cuz everything else that that supports still works normal. IF the ignition switch is going bad than way does it work when I turn it backwards??
Thanks for your help rubi, every little bit is appreciated

So are you still waiting for the column or has it been replaced? I hope you didn’t buy the whole column because while the dealer won’t sell you the actuator pin you need separately, you can get them in the after market. Do a search. Below is one source, there are others. As for the radio, do your turn signals work? You may also need an ignition switch also linked below or more likely it might have to do with how the new switch was rigged. The clockspring may be bad & causing the horn not to work unless it is affected by the new switch also.

I have recently gone through the steering column nightmare where that little shitty piece of pot metal breaks off right and no longer is able to turn your ignition switch to the run position. I was # 31 on the national backorder list and would have had to wait 4 to 6 months to get the whole steering column replaced because the only sell it as a complete unit. So i took it to my tech, he rigged up a turn dial ignition on the lower part of my dash. Now it works exactly like my key did when I needed the key to turn the lock cylinder. Backward for aux power, one click forward for power on, and the one more turn to crank it on.
Heres the new problem, since it was fixed the radio doesnt work in the run position. But if I turn the dial backward( just like you can a key in a lock cylinder) the radio works like normal.
There is power to the radio when there needs to be, and I can even hear it turn on when i turn the key.
Another note, since the fix my horn also stopped working
Checked all my fuses and all my relays. all work.
Im pretty sure its something to do with the steering column but Im running out of ideas
