Jonny15 lol those arnt exactly street tires, but compared to swampers i guess you could call them that. I dont really have much to add on the subject cause ive never run any of those tires, but i can say that balancing a 37 or 38 inch tire will be a real challenge no matter what they are. And 15.5 inches seems almost too wide for a tj, i'd say go with the xterrains.

tire balancing question and tire choice

hey, im going back to street tires cause i cant stand the swampers. I want a better street safe vehicle. I brought it down to 2 tires, the 37-13.5-15 x-terrains, or the 38-15.5-15 baja claws. I was wondering if i would issues balancing tires these sizes. What tire would you run? Ive ran the x-terrain before but 35inch, and they were great, but i was curious about the baja claws. Ive always seen them as rivals i guess. Any feedback as in how the wear, sound, and balance out would be great. and would i have problem with the a tire 15.5 inches wide. I know i can fit them but will they put stress on steering box and other components?
