nicolas-eric the JK without lockers can do more things than you think.

socalduner Even without lockers these things do really good, I have been rock crawling with guy's without lockers and they do great. I think for what you plan on doing you wont need lockers.

To lock or not to lock...

Hey all,

So I found a 2007 X 4dr JK with low miles and plenty of bells and whistles. The only thing that jumps out at me is it does not have any kind of limited or locking diff. I've come to the realization I'm not going to find one with all the options I'd like for a good price; but this kind of concerns me.

I was hoping to get some opinions about a Jeep with conventional differentials. Although I'm not going out rock crawling tomorrow...it is a Jeep, not a car, and I was going to do some upgrading and mild to moderate wheeling in the future.

Yes, I know they can be upgraded, but I'd like to stick with factory for at least the rest of the warranty.

Thanks in advance!
Nate
