Dextreme This is how I did mine....used the guide, but I think I used a total of 6 washers. I also tack welded one of the grade 8 washers to the head of the clevis pin so it shouldn't wear as quick.

Disconnected (I welded a tab to the frame)

How to do a sway bar disconnect?

I have a TJ X and I want to add a quick disconnect system for the sway bar. I've seen some pictures on the forum but nothing that is totally comprehensible. I want to do the clevis pin set up but I am wondering what kind of supplies I need so I can make a list to take a trip to the hardware store. This mod would really help just help me get started.
