mcjeeper What size of tire and gears are you running? The TCC only engages during cruising at Highway speed. If you have too big of tires with high gears such as stock gearing it puts alot of stress on the TCC. If this is the case the clutches are probably toast, if not its probably your solenoid. If its your solenoid though your clutches are also probably gone due to lack of pressure, causing the clutches to slip. So either way one or both are bad. Have you done a tranny flush lately?

randy and teri the 2-wire plug for the solenoid is on the back of the tranny. you have to remove the pan to change the solenoid. drop the skid plate, siphon the fluid out of the tranny through the dipstick tube or start loosening at one corner and work from there to drain into a pan. remove the filter (might as well replace it while your there anyways and most come with the gasket) and there should be one 10mm bolt holding it in place if memory serves me. its an inexpensive part.
once you are reassembled, disconnect the battery ground for a few to clear the codes then fire it up. be sure to refill the tranny first of course.

G-Pur Something tells me it may be the Torque Converter Clutch Solenoid. I wish I could help, but I don't even know what that is. Send a PM to Jerry B, I'm sure he knows exactly what to do.
