reevesdieselyj Not sure on what went wrong but you should have a warranty on the master cylinder. Make sure you are using the right DOT brake fluid.

Clutch Master Cylinder Problems

Hi everyone,
I've got an 88' and my clutch master cylinder began leaking. Replaced it with a brand new one and less than a month later the fluid is real dark and it is leaking again (inside the jeep just like before) I bench bled it on the jeep, put in new fluid and bleed the line until it was clear. Any ideas on what went wrong. Don't want to spend the money on another one to have this happen again.
