mommymallcrawler Morning ladies! Still stunningly gorgeous weather here in the Valley of the Sun - maybe 90ish high, 65ish low. Great time to have a Jeep!

My Lunatic is officially on his way home somewhere over the Pacific Ocean. Redeye baby - the only flight out of Samoa to Hawaii leaves like just a little bit ago Phoenix time (about midnite Samoan time). Gets to Hawaii about 9am-ish Phoenix time, mega layover, a buncha time zones later, and arrives here in Phoenix about 10pm. Gonna be a long day!

Me I can be in any plane and asleep before we even get out of the gate lol. He doesnt sleep well on planes and had to work yesterday, so that will be the equivalent of being awake like 36+ hours straight. I know he is happy to be coming home tho. Work cannot go fast enough today!

Happy!!!!!!!! He has been gone for 5 weeks. He gets the first class airport limo - my naked Jeep! Its pretty funny tho. When I went with him back in April, the speed limit ON EVERY SINGLE ROAD IN THE ENTIRE COUNTRY/ISLAND is 20 or 25 mph. The first time you pull out of the airport here and hit 65ish is like a whole new world! LOL
WooooHoooooo!!! 5 weeks is a long time!!

I've already been up and to the gym. Thinking about having another cup of coffee. I'm loving the cooler temps.
Has anyone seen the laundry fairy I been putting it off hoping she'd show up. No such luck :/

krbshappy71 Dropping to 38 degrees F tonight so I threw on the Freedom panels. Does cold hurt the electronics? I can google about it, but I was thinking the damp cold inside (if tops were left off) wouldn't be good for the radio and steering wheel. I always have dew on the inside dash and windows.

Jeepalicious all!!!

Krbsb - too bad - I was wondering if you'd be there! We went to Batsto instead of Chatsworth (closer) it was windy but really pretty still - got my cranberries & honey sticks & Jalepeno kettle corn! Yes, a billion crafts & it was all about the food for me!

Hrlygrl - 10 miles?! That's great!!! 3 nearly kills me.

Hrlygrl Ended up doing some retail therapy yesterday. I drug hubby with me. He isn't always on the topless music blasting page. But we tried someplace new for luck so it wasn't too bad.
Ran an awesome 10 miles on this beautiful morning. Thinking not going to do much else today but watch the race and some football.
10-19-2014 10:28 AM
krbshappy71 Sigh too cold and windy so we skipped the festival and went to a couple local indoor events instead and visited family. Meh.

krbshappy71 JEEPALICIOUS we are going to the Cranberry festival tomorrow, thank you for telling us about it! I marked the event on Facebook at the time you told me about it and it just reminded me. Hubby has kids today so we are going tomorrow.

Capt'n Jack has the Freedom panels off and in the back seat sliding around, ugh. I didn't realize what a bad driver I was until I started hearing those banging around in the back. Panels off and windows down helps make up for being "buttoned up."

Jeep waves all around, life is quiet here and can't wait for tomorrow. Definitely going to hit some trails while I'm in NJ!

You really should! I love the southern Oregon and northern California coastlines, forests, and highways more than just about anyplace (except for southwestern Ireland's coastlines) I've ever seen. Share away! I haven't been down to Bandon, etc., in at least a couple of years.

Living on the coast rocks! And living a block from the beach means I can go there whenever I want, since I "work" from home--if you can call making art and taking photos all day while in the company of my dogs, birds, and husband, "work" .

What a view! I could never tire of that view! My mom has decided that she wants to move to Bandon or Gold Beach, lol. We're on CA Highway 1 now, spending the night in Fort Bragg. We plan to hit the wine country tomorrow although we're enjoying a very nice bottle of OR wine in our hotel room tonight. This has been a great adventure so far, I just wish I was driving my jeep instead of my mom's Hyundai Sonata. Can't complain about the 32 mpg though. I'm sure gonna hate going back to work on Monday!

And some camping trips too it looks like.... so, you gals may want to go check out MeetUp.com for some fellow Jeep get togethers. Winter may not be much going on, where you live. But theres always spring and summer.
Clocking in at 68 here in Phoenix this morning. Here pretty much all parts of the year are prime wheeling weather, except for late June-ish til mid September-ish when it is hotter than hell and we mostly run at night or zero dark early.

So exciting! Sending you 11 days worth of warmth and sun from the desert southwest.

Well hope that nasty headache subsides.
My Lunatic is still many thousands of miles away in American Samoa. He was supposed to be home this week but got delayed til next week. Counting down the hours! Quiet and being alone gets a bit old after a couple days - much better having him around. I am probably more the noisey part of the duo than he is tho lol! We already have like 3 Jeep runs, a charity event and a huge Jeep meet and greet lined up for when he gets back.

The charity event is a car show off sponsored by a local police department for special needs children. They say the kids love the Jeeps! I will show them my trunk monkey (aka sock monkey zip tied on my roll bar) and let them press my Trunk Monkey switch to wake him up lol!

Two of our runs have Halloween themes, so we are bringing goodie bags with treats for the kids (big and little lol!) on the runs.
