bbqfreak thank you very much. right now it's sitting on the bench..LOL so i want to install the tee for the gauge and extra cooler then install, that's why i could'nt spin it over to tell. thanks again

UnlimitedLJ04 assuming LHD, passenger side should be hot from tranny, and drivers side should be cold back to tranny. Check on the tranny itself, the lower line is hot-out, and the upper line is cold-in.

You can verify before installing anything. Take both ends off the radiator, wrap a gallon size clear plastic freezer bag around them and zip the bag on. Put the tranny in park and start it quick and shut it off immediately. Whichever bag has fluid in it, that is your hot from the tranny.

42rle trans. question

am putting my rig back together and also installing external cooler with fan and temp unit on tranny. can anyone tell me wich line coming out of the trany is the hot to the radaitor line and wich is return? thanks in advance
