I've got one of them too, kinda nice having someone around who knows everything!

This year was better than the last two tax wise, 4 digit owe's in 09 and 10, I get enough back to by a tank of gas and pay for the software I bought to do the darn taxes in the first place.

denisbaldwin At least you have the option of kids. I'm youngish, have a wife that works and has a decent job, make too much money to be considered lower middle class anymore, am a home owner with no kids.. and I get boned constantly. I'm paying close to 31% in income tax these days.

crafty I think we should get tax deductions for our Jeeps
We have to feed them (gas)
Buy new shoes as they grow (tires)
Healthcare (sliders, bumpers and winches)
Clothes (bikini tops, full tops)

And they keep most of us sane---less insane asylums needed for the government to pay for.

can I borrow a dependant from you this tax season?

cause this is BS!

I've got two kids and my wife has two, but through both of our divorces the "others", as we call them, get the deductions.

Uncle Sam didnt even pat me on the back and tell me its ok, it wont hurt for too long

guess I'll throw the catalogs away, aint buying anything big this year
