did you buy that jeep from the dealer by firestone on airline? they had one that looked just like that for a few months.

if you are in calallen, then you might know jared johnson or any of his family? they are jeep people who live out that way. they have cj2s though.

when ever you guys all want to get together, let me know by pm. we can meet and bbq or play frisbee golf or something and then go cruise.

There is this other jeep that look exactly like mine. We pretty much just have different tires and little things here and there so dont confuse us if you the the jeeps lol

busemans the one out on the island, across from bob hall, is still there. what do they call that area, pine hill, or something. we used to fish out that way and there is a huge huge hill that you have to have a well built 4x4 to climb. there are some minor baby trails out off saratoga, behind hte industrial park. and then some mud runs out in calallen that you have to get permission to run because they are on private property.

you corpus guys, i am in the all black yj with the zombie response stickers on it. flag me down when you see me.

deathphoenix99 I'm interested. I'll have to see what the other half has planned, but I'd love to go out there, I'd also love to take the top off, if the mosquitoes aren't too bad by then.

10-21-2011 10:37 AM
deathphoenix99 I'll bet, it's not as nice as Corpus or better yet, SPI, but still, there are places to drive. I still need to go down to San Luis Pass, that might be a decent place to drive around.
10-21-2011 09:44 AM
delalto23 I haven't really seen "beach" you can really drive on in Galveston. Ne'er tried goin to that area. In corpus you just get on the beac and drive for miles. And if you go into National Sea Shore Park you can drive thru NSS, little shell, big shell and end up in port Mansfield. That is a good little drive in your jeep. Good fishing as well!
10-21-2011 07:39 AM
deathphoenix99 You can drive the beach in Galveston. And if you go over to Port Bolivar, you can drive that beach too, but you're supposed to buy a pass to drive on that one.
10-20-2011 11:46 AM
delalto23 I'm from corpus and there ain't to many trails left any more. Most of the trails that were in the area got closed off. Only place I was able to drive was the beach. Now I'm stationed in Houston because of the coast guard and I haven't been able to fine any trails. Shoot you can't even drive te beach here
10-17-2011 08:07 AM
deathphoenix99 I'm in Houston. And you can't drive on the beach from South padre to Padre Island. But I have driven as far north as you can on South Padre Island and it's a lot of fun!
10-14-2011 10:40 PM
TXJKU-Rubi Isn't the South Padre National Seashore one big trail?? I've been down that way but much too briefly. I would like to take my kayaks down and fish up and down that shore with my jeep for a week.
10-07-2011 10:13 AM
swiber Mine is on order. Have not herd of any trails in the area yet.
