FreezerJeep Hey I know what a firehawk is also. My car before this was a 07 cobalt SS/SC. not quite the same but was fun none the less. But we got a Newfoundland dog ( for those that don't know, he will be about 30" at the withers at around 180lbs fully grown.) the cobalt just couldn't do it anymore.

Thanks for all the welcomes tho. Any advice off the top to look for/watch with the jeeps would be greatly appreciated.

New from Beaumont, Alberta

Hey, I'm Bryce. I'm 26 years old, and work as a machinist. I just picked up a 2012 JKU Arctic Edition in Bright white a couple weeks ago. Before and sionce then, I have been reading this forum, and felt I should become a member.

I am new to Jeep (first one) and to off-roading in general. My in-laws have 180 acres of land, and I have gone out there a couple times but it's nothing to crazy.

I hope to learn a lot from here, and as well provide insight for others as being a machinist (...*side note*....for those who don't know, we make things out of metals, plastics, and other crazy materials mainly for the oilfield, but have also made some custom shifters for '10 Cobra and some parts for a friends dad who is building an old muscle car. As well as making parts as my boss restores old sleds (snow mobiles) from the 1950's...*back on topic now*...) I have learned a lot on the properties of different materials, and how to work with them properly.

I would also like to learn where good places to go near here are, and how to properly go off road with out destroying the land so it's there for many others to enjoy.
