jasonh28 well here she is 89 yj 195k on the motor brand new transmision(5spd) and rear dif. 33" bfgs and i think a 3' body lift, the kid i bought it from didnt know much he didnt even know what the fender flares were. i'll drive her till the motor shits out and throw the 350 in, which is why i liked the brand new transmission part, 3 year warranty on it too, very clean body no rust other than minor surface rust and paint chips

Starting my jeep build (.060 chevy350)

just joined the forum to look around and get information on what/how i should do this build. sold my 72 nova and kept the motor so i could throw it in a jeep, wondering what year/body style i should get i kinda like the cj5 i'll pry be on the river a bit with it, but any tips/links would help, i know there's threads on it already i'll be searching them ,but i figured i'd post this while i search,

are you better off sticking with amc original transmision/transfer case and adapting to the 350? or putting chevy trans/transfer case in?

engine= .060 chevy 350 Skat crank, Lunati rods, TRW flat top pistons, double hump 2.02 1.60 valves, holley750, weiand stealth dual plane intake
have freshly rebuild turbo 350 dunno if i can use that yet, i know i'll have to switch the torque converter(has stall from nova)

tips and suggestions appreciated! thanks
