Timberwolf the chinese XJ was the Jeep 2500 (only available with the 2.5)
they also did the WJ as the 4000 and 4700

commodore_dude Beijing Jeep made a neat-looking updated XJ for a while:



They haven't in a few years, though. There was a guy that had imported the front clip to put on a Comanche a couple of years ago on JF, but I don't think he ever finished it (or at least didn't post about it).

Jeeps that are made in other countries

I know there are always countries(often third world) that keep making older or discontinued models. For example, the original Beetle was built in Mexico long after VW dropped it (may be it is still made). I wonder if any older Jeeps are still made elsewhere. Wouldn't be great if you could buy a brand new wartime Jeep somewhere?
