|Mudweiser||Meh...my 2006 Sport i bought a couple weeks ago came with 33x10.50 bfgs on stock rims under it. Scrubs a bit on full turn lock but other then that runs fine. Holds 6th gear up and down hills with cruise on. Not my choice, but it can be done. Ill be correcting alot of that over the next couple weeks but apparently the guy who had it before me put 70k on the odometer with em. Do what suits ya, upgrade it when it breaks, and have fun doing it.|

Jerry has good advice, however it CAN be done. I have it. Not buy choice, but it was a package deal on the purchase. I run my jeep as a daily driver all over colorado springs and do not chew my tires or my jeep up do to rubbing.
I am not trying to undermine Jerry, he obviously knows a thing or two, just letting you know what I have.

I am running 33x12.50R15LT Maxxis Bighorns on a full stock suspension, no wheel spacers or nothing. Have been since July of 2011. I bought it that way, or I would have lifted first.
There is little room for any error. Any bump hit to hard up front and youll rub. Any weight in the back and ya start bouncing and youll rub. If you stay on the pavement and take it easy you can do it.
Im still running my stock 3.73 gears and I still get around 16.6 MPG on the stock speedo gear. So if ya do the math thats not bad. Oh yeah did i mention Im at 6000 feet elevation.
Will install the OME 2.5'' Heavy suspension kit next month with some other upgrades. So you can do it, but do not recomend it. It looks cool though.

Max tire size with out a lift
I've got a 2004 TJ no lift. It has 31's on it now with wheel spacers. Not sure of the spacer size. Is that the biggest I can go with out a lift? I need tires and plan on lifting it but can't do both at the same time. Is it possible to throw 33" sneakers under it?
