smoke I tried both keys today and neither worked, I have a 6 speed manual, I took it to the dealer and demanded they give me a rental and keep it till they figure out what is wrong with it, I will call and notify them of the TSB on monday, so frustrating its unreal.

I am in oklahoma, does anyone know if lemon laws vary by state or what they consist of?

PhishesSleeper Same problem in my 08 auto. It ended up being a Wireless Access Control Module. There is a TSB (Technical Service Bulletin) for it. Have them look into it.

Bladerunner32262 I had the same problem. Turned out to be a faulty transmitter in the key itself. Try the spare and see if it doesn't start.

I would say this first. If it's a manual it could be a faulty clutch neutral safety switch. When I had a manual TJ it did the same thing. The dealer replaced the starter and that didn't solve the problem. I insisted that they replace the clutch safety switch and that solved the problem. Got a new starter out of the deal at least. Next time it does it, try to cycle the shift selector from park to neutral a few times and then try to start it in park. If a no go try neutral. If it starts you found the problem.

Exactly what I was going to suggest!

2011 not starting huge pain!

my 2011 jeep has been having issues with not starting on occasions and the dealer has no clue whats going on as they have checked everything. for example.

I will be driving and everything is fine, then stop to get gas or go to the gym or whatever and I come out and car wont start. lights and everythign come on but nothing happens. The kicker is if I wait a few hours it seems to start back up and this has been the problem because I will have it towed to the dealer and they wont be able to look at it till the next day and when they finally do it starts right up for them. This has happened 5 freaking times! Today I went to get gas and came out and wouldn't start, then waited 3 hours and came back and it fired up. The dealer wont do anything because it starts up whenever they look at it, what do I do?

I have called jeep and they havent done shit, The jeep has had to be taken in multiple times for steering wheel controls going out, and anti-skid system malfunctioning going out which almost caused me to wreck as well as these starting issues, it has 20 K on it mileage wise. lemon law?

I am pissed beyond belief and am totally clueless as to what to do.

If anyone here is with a dealer please advise me on what to say or how to handle this,
