davisjd1 I meant to put it in as 245 mile per tank, not gallon. OOP's! As far as going easy on it I keep the RPM average around 2200, unless on the highway, then it's around 2700. But I have noticed that I can push it 75-80 mph from Concord, NC to Chester, SC and back and still get the same milage as if I were 45 mph without any highway.

rubicon milage?

I recently bought a 2007 rubicon and a I'monly getting about 245 MPG. Is that the average for the rubicon? I had a 77 CJ and it had a 304 and got better milage. Any ideas to improve it.
