Z0827 I agree with rda616. Why remove them? They are actually pretty beneficial. Especially if you aren't having any vibrations right now (plus you have the extra ground clearance given by the MML and BL if you are going off roading). The previous owner may have done both for a reason.

But since a body lift is necessary with an MML I would think if you remove the BL you also have to remove the MML.

rda616 I would leave them right where they are. If anything get a shorter lift spring.

Body Lift Removal

Hi all,

I am a new to the Jeeping world and just bought a 2001 Wrangler with a 1.25" JKS BL, a 1" JKS MML and a 5.5" Rubicon Express SL. I am running 35" tires. I would like to remove the BL and would like to know if it is best to remove the MML also ? I'm not sure if it matters or not but there is also a skid plate under the transmission. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
