Boston_Bruins30 Hey just installed my zone 3" sunday and love it so far. Definitely improved ride quality and its sitting at just the right height. Havent had it off road yet but hopefully this weekend. Forgot to take pics of the install but it was pretty straight forward. Even better was my buddy helped and we used his lift . Only real problems was getting the rear track bar bolt on the frame out and 2 of the bump stop bolts mashed the threads on the way out. easy fix in the rear room to get a nut behind and front tapped to a size larger. Got a great deal from jeff over at rock ridge with free shipping. Excellent customer service. Here are the before and after.[IMG]before[/IMG]

TheTJRod UCF sells their basic ones for $270. They also sell thicker ones, aluminum and whole under belly skid plates.

Boston_Bruins30 About how much do tummy tucks cost? That might go on my wish list after a re gear and sye

Remember that most tummy tucks require body lifts and the ones that don't really don't give you much extra clearance. Also lifted gas tank skids require BL's as well. MML's also recommend a body lift.

Were not talking 3" or something crazy. The max would be JKS' 1.25". I have a flat skid and it would have been impossible to do without a BL.

Bomber65 I have the 3" Zone lift with TC drop and I still have a slight vibe but only when taking off. Getting ready to a SYE now.

XJ Knight anything over 2.5in you will need to do either a Tcase drop or SYE/New Shaft.. The Tcase drop is a nice temporary fix as whats the point of lifting your jeep only to have to lower it..

shrekfx I just did the 3in Zone as well and I get some vibes at low speeds then vibe again at higher speeds. I think they are vibs. but I could just be parinoid. But everything else is stock. If you dont have offset wheels, might want to consider on that cuz my rear tire rub a little when it flexes.

Boston_Bruins30 Hey thanks for the imput everyone. I think im gonna do the 3" then and im going through jeff with rockridge. He gave me a pretty good price quote.

siafu I just installed the 3" zone lift and the included TC drop and still have vibes around 30mph. I am going to add a washer or two and see if it is solved. If not, then I guess I need to get the SYE kit.

TheTJRod Also look at the UnderCoverFab's LO-PRO mount. It replaces the t-case mount and is 1" smaller. This will keep you from having to lower the skid or needing a SYE in some setups.

No. you can do a 4" and just do a TC drop. Or you can do a MML. or both lol

I was gonna say that. You can also install the lift then give it a spin to check for driveline vibrations; if you have them, space the skid, if not then you're good. Anything higher and you WILL need to either lower the skid or install the SYE on that TJ.

wwch99tj With the 3 inch lift you wouldn't need a slip yoke eliminator but you will probably need to lower your transfer case skid to eliminate vibes.

Your stock control arms will be fine lots of people run stock arms with that lift

Make sure you check out the vendors on here might get a better deal on you lift

Ok so im looking into getting a new lift and im thinking 3" zone. From what I understand under 3.5" you dont need an sye right? Also will my stock control arms be ok dd and weekend trail riding/ mild wheeling. If not I might just go for the 4" with control arms for a little extra mone only prob is ill have to get an sye and drive shaft. Jeep currently sits on 33's with about a 1" body. I also going to be making flat fenders.
