I would get the locker for the front, and get the 8.8 with limited slip. You would be amazed how much better it would wheel.
I always weld my rear axles, but I don't drive on the road much.
The Dana 35 is a weak axle, I haven't broke one myself, but I have seen a few get destroyed. They cannot take a lot of abuse.

|Abomination93||Weak axle shafts. You can get upgraded axle shafts but they are not cheap. A lot of people upgrade to the Ford 8.8 out of an explorer because its a stronger axle and you get disk brakes at the same time.|

dana 35....good or bad??
I've been looking into getting a ratcheting locker for either the dana 30 up front or the dana 35 in the rear,not sure which one I'm gonna do first or which one will be the better choice,but everything I'm reading kinda trash's the dana 35.Why? I'm kinda new to the 4x4 jeep world and would've though the dana 30 was weaker than the dana 35.Can anyone tell me why its so bad? or wat bad tendancy's it may have
