|the Kolector||It amazes me what is missed by dealers or other shops. It's like phantom issues where it happens under certain conditions and sometimes its easier and cheaper to fix it yourself, good job!|

Nice work! Litte exploration and you found the problem.
Far too many people would just to the dealer, open thier wallet and whine about it not being covered under warranty later.

Has this happened to anyone else?
I recently purchased a 2010 sport, after a day or two of ownership I noticed a light squealing noise coming from somewhere underneath. I took it to my local jeep dealership and they inspected it and said they found no safety issues and sent me on my way with no explanation or fix.
Yesterday on my way home from doing some wheeling in the green swamp here in Florida I noticed the noise had gotten worse ten fold, now I was able to pinpoint the noise. It was coming from the driver side rear.
When I got home my buddy and I took off the tire he thought it could be the dust cover had been bent and rubbing on the rotar. Well that wasn't it, so we looked further and noticed some built up debrie in the emergency brake area where the pads had been rubbing. We cleaned that out and re adjusted the the brake. Now no squeal thank god.
Sorry so long, was just wandering if anyone else has ever had this problem.
