computeruser Buy used? Seriously, you will not find a quality rack for cheap, even if you buy used, but if you shop used your odds do go up some. I picked up a TopFive rack for $150 last year, in good shape. Every once in a while a Garvin or KargoMaster will come up for sale used, and both of these are good.

None of these racks will make it fun or easy (or in some cases even possible) to fold your soft top back. Keep that in mind. There is no free lunch here.

crafty Won't need one for times you take the top off, use roll bar and tie down front to bumper area.(This is a 2 person kayak) Use ratchet straps

Need A Rack

I have a 99 Wrangler with a soft top. I really need a rack for my snowboards, kayaks, etc., but I still want to be able to take my top off. I'm also a poor college student. Money isn't exactly abundant right now. I'm just looking for something cheap yet durable and strong. Any suggestions?
