In the future, try not to leave anything visible inside the Jeep that appears to have any value to anyone. Those windows can get expensive to keep replacing anytime some loser who doesn't know how to operate velcro and zippers wants to steal something.

You might also want to consider this mod.

I'm thinking of adding a motion sensor so I won't be so paranoid when I take the hard top off. I park in my garage a night, but still paranoid about parking at work or ANYWHERE else.

DrHolliday I'll still lock my doors in hopes that it prevents the door itself from being stolen... I keep the bolts out of the hinges to make door removal just a little easier.

21edupej Well we are having a toad strangler rain and thunderstorm here! We'll see how my 3M packing tape fix on the window works out over the next 2 days we are supposed to get 2-4 inches of rain! So far neither the SoftTop or the doors have leaked, so that's a good sign! It has rained off and on for the past two weeks, but not as hard as tonight and supposedly tomorrow!

Quadratec sent me email confirmations the windows shipped today...hopefully be here Thursday.

RUBINOT Axxholes. I dont lock my doors for just that reason.

the Kolector That sucks. Why can't people just leave others stuff alone? Haters gonna hate.

PA ARCTIC unreal. very sad. unrelated....at work this week i left a sweatshirt at my work line. nothing special about it. left work and realized i left it there. next day...GONE. told the super about it and he could not believe it. WTF would someone want a sweatshirt for? some people would take a bag of *hit if it was free. some people just cant keep their hands off stuff.

Ha! I work in the service industry and often say the job would be great if it wasn't for the people! Lol! I've been threatening to write a book for some time now and call it "People are so fu$&ing dumb its unbelievable"

As for the windows, should be here Wed or Thursday. Ordered from Quadratec, nobody else seemed to have 2012 kit for 2 door. Price for the whole 3 piece was only $20 more than my dealer wanted for the single window! The difference in shipping from ground to third day was only $1.00, but overnight was $45 more! Lol I'll be rocking the 3M Clear Packing tape mod for a few days! Lol

Casotakar1229 maybe they saw your 6speed and said "awe, shit...I need to learn 6spd" haha.

Sueby Well thats crap. People suck, huh?

I leave mine unlocked for this reason, except for the tailgate with the tuffy security deck when theres anything of value in it.

Enjoy your new windows!

21edupej Well, I'm thinking, they got in and could have stolen my Jeep and just took the opener and caused me $300 in damage.

So, is it pretty much impossible to steal a newer Jeep with the SentryKey?

Wise decision. If I had a soft top (still looking for one), I would never lock the doors. Just keep it empty of anything if value.

The funny thing is, I hand change laying in the center console, a Black n Decker tire compressor in the back, over 100 CDs in a Case Logic, a phone charger etc. They took ONLY the gate opener, I pity the dude in the 1992-1996 Honda Accord that parks a few spots from me, he may be carless in a day or two

Looks like the SunRider straps are missing too...but perhaps they were never there...I've never actually used them, and not sure I've ever seen them since I bought it...LOL

There is NOTHING in the Jeep now except floor mats!

21edupej Yeah I was planning on the tinted windows in a month or so...just fast forwarding the process I guess. Worst thing was it rained in a bit All appears dry today. I have taped it up for now. Windows should be here beginning of the week.

I emptied everything from the Jeep. Thinking on just leaving it unlocked! Lol

Probably weren't sure how to operate the zipper.

Congrats on the tinted windows, though.

4fit Hard that for you bro. But tinted windows will definitely look better.

Forced into first mod!

Well, it looks like I'm being forced into my first mod! After just 3 weeks of ownership my Jeep was broken into. They cut the drivers side rear window on the soft top with a carpet knife. Only thing stolen was the apartment gate opener. The officer said likely they took my gate opener so they could get in later and steal cars! I thought it was pretty goofy they cut a big hole in a window that is easily removable!

So I'm being forced into my first mod. The tinted soft top windows!! Lol
