Smashey I'm also Matt on the north side of Edmonton.

Anybody have the necessity 6 ton jack stands a big jack and experience changing springs and shocks to help a guy out, I have tools and a pretty decent know how but my tires don't lift off the ground with my tiny 2 ton stands...
Haha
Also anybody know of some fun places to go and have fun in a 4x4 real armature off road parks would be cool to check out, do we have anything like that?

mattdaddy71 Matt from Edmonton.. Drive a '13 True Blue JKU Sahara.. Love it! So far, the jeep waves seem to be few and far between.. I got 2 of them literally 30 meters off the lot at Derrick Dodge when I picked it up.. two red JKUR's with big tires, lift, etc etc.. Since then, maybe 2 waves returned.. (Drove my dads YJ a bit when I was in highschool, so I am well versed in the ways of the Jeep wave)

The new top is pretty darned quiet.

Safari park last time I heard was closed because of noise complaints.

Gouch_07_X Got a wave back on Saturday from a black jku with a sticker in the back window that said " you can follow me, but it's gonna hurt" was a nice looking unit!

Mike-
It's here ...

Got 1,600 km on it already.

Generally I like it, but can't say I think too much of this fly by wire throttle with the manual trans. Almost wishing I'd ordered a automatic now. It does no feel like any standard I've ever owned and I've had lots.

Definitely pillows sow though. Went out in the back field with it in hard, drifted snow up to the door silks (higher in places) and it motored right through. Had to back up and take a run in a couple of places, but seemed to work pretty good.

I think it's going to turn out to be a rare colour. I haven't heard of another dealer around Edmonton ordering a Dune JKU.

I was going to trade my '06 Liberty CRD in on the Rubicon, but I decided not to, and now, I think I'll keep my Liberty for the winters - it's already a 6 year veteran of salty roads. It actually has way more torque with the diesel, and the selectable full time (pavement safe) 4wd is nice on the highway in the winter. If they come out with a diesel, this one will be for sale in a hurry. The Liberty will waste it in every aspect except clearance.

I wave all the time, but you're right, no one seems to wave back.

2013 Crush JKUR in Edmonton.
Owned Jeep 2 weeks.
0 unsolicited waves.
1 return wave.
It's not "a jeep thing" in Edmonton, I guess.

KCook I live in Edmonton, drive a 2012 JKU Rubicon... Don't really know anyone in the city that drives a Jeep, or that does any offroading, but I've seen a few really nice machines around town.

Crap going to be working. Off today trying to figure out what's wrong with the front end. Clunking in the drivers side. Had a mechanic quickly look at it and nothing. Checked torque nothing. Going to check ball joints for play.
