mudmagnet63 vibration could be tires out of ballance. If your pitman arm is loose it probably needs the tie rod ends and drag link checked, or precurser to the death wobble. check youtube their's lot's of videos posted that will help

Steering wheel play

I just bought my Jeep a week ago. It has a two inch lift and 33 inch mud tires on it. The steering wheel shakes back and forth from about 20-40mph, but above that it is smooth. I know very little about mechanics etc, but I think it may need the wheel bearings replaced? Am I correct? I also noticed the pitman arm can be rolled back and forth, in place, about a quarter inch. What is up with that?

Any help is greatly appreciated.
