He said in his original thread that it "was sent to scrap".

Thanks, I tried that and they told me that they cannot provide such service...

Sorry, I wrote my question in frustration. I do not know if it came factory thus my reason for asking.

@ daggo66
Actually it does have a salvage title. States are not responsible for determining salvage "per se." Insurance Co. determine the cost of damage to what the overall pay out will be and that calculation determines salvage or not. In some cases I've purchased salvaged vehicles with damage that would cost less than $500 to fix but paid out thousands of dollars... in those cases I'm not sure how that insurance agent salvaged the vehicle. Maybe a fellow member is a insurance agent and can shed light on the matter.
Thanks!

ljrubitm Write down the vin#, go to the dealer and ask for the build sheet.

daggo66 If his story was true it would have a salvage title.

Thanks, Josh
if it came factory why are you asking?

jeep would sell with any options the buyer wants. usually a rubi comes with a hardtop if I am not mistaken and sirius isn't unheard-of in a jeep nor is the navigation, and half doors are usually something installed prior to purchase as well...everything you listed essentially can be added during purchase. you can build your own jeep on their website.

2005 Rubicon Options...

I am looking for information from a knowledgeable jeeper about what options were available for the wrangler in 2005. I purchased a 2005 Jeep Rubicon from a guy in Philadelphia, PA about 1 year ago. He tells me that the Jeep was used in a Carrie Underwood video and was sent to scrap. He is the Junk Yard attorney and purchased it with the hammer dents all over it much like she did in a video with a Red Dodge Ram (if anyone remembers). Anyways he had no proof so it's nothing more than a fantastic story.
So I'm puzzled as to the options on this Jeep... It came factory with half doors, soft top, Navigation, Heated leather seats, some kind of Mopar security system (that I can't figure out), and a Sirius Sat antenea built into the roll bar. I had all the dents and so on fixed and added hardtop and full doors with JK 17" rubi wheels/tires. My question is did Jeep really sell these with the options I've stated or would a dealer have to add these at the stealership?
Thanks, Josh
