Lagzalot what is the backspacing on your rims?

appleman46 I have a 285/70R/17 with no lift and I only get rubbing if I crank my wheel all the way to one side, just to give you an idea of where I sit with mine.

Lagzalot thanks mth, matt from dtd recommended the tkos because of their 5.5 bs, and you are right, the level 8's will stick out about an inch or so, i wouldnt flex untill i had my lift on, that would be asking for trouble :P

MTH Read: http://www.wranglerforum.com/f27/lar...er-142837.html

The tire you're proposing is a touch under 33" and a touch wider than 11". I don't know the bs on the 16" level 8s, but I'd guess those will stick out probably an inch or so outside of the fenders. Maybe a little less. You'll probably rub the fender flares of you flex offroad without a lift, but you shouldn't rub on turns.

help, will this work?

im thinking of going with the 285/75 16 duratrac tire, no lift (YET) on my 2010 jk
on 16x8.5 level 8 tracker rims, not sure what the backspacing is on these wheels.> Wheel Details - Discount Tire Direct

will this result in, 1) no rubbing at all? 2) no tread sticking beyond stock flares!! im really liking this look guys, help me out!!
