1BLKJP yeah, it's definitely possible. Based on numerous things including what kind of unit bearings they were. If you are running big tires and wheel it a lot then unit bearings are going to be an issue. Of course something being out of alignment in your front suspension can also help cause premature wear on your unit bearings.

wheel bearing assembly

would a new set of wheel bearing assemblies have play in them? i put a set in my dana 30 six months ago and the garage says that they have slop in them when its up on the lift. the ball joints are brand new also. i guess the garage can wiggle the tire (top to bottom) when it in the air. any theories? i'm going to pick the jeep up now and check it out.
