JDsDream Welcome to the Forum

X2 on the fluids along with filters.
Also keep in mind that just because a battery is strong enough to power your guages and lights it does not mean that it has the power to actually start.

Try posting your question in the builder's section of the forum for additional suggestions.

Greetings...and Help

Hi all!
I am a possible new owner of a 1991 Jeep Wrangler. My relative had the jeep sitting in her garage for the past 5 years basically collecting dust. After my persistence she gave in

Pros: Other than a small dent on the back left fender, the body is straight and free of scratches. The original red paint still shines like new! Seats are clean and in overall good condition. Tires have plenty of tread but rubber is cracking. The jeep only has 133,000 miles on it!

Cons: It's still in her garage because the car won't start All the lights come on when the key is in the ignition which leads me to believe the battery is ok. When I turn the key the engine struggles to turn over. I tried jumping it with no success. I was told the car started up fine 6 months ago and was driven to the beach and back with no problem.

I think I remember someone once saying that there was a kind of spray that can be used to help a car start that has been sitting for a while..?? Am I totally stoned?? or does this sound true?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
