My first rocker guards from 4XDoctor seemed beefy but the more rock crawling I did, the more they bent and the more my rockers underneath them bent and creased.
You can see the inside brace on my previous TJ that Savvy's rocker guards use to stiffen/strengthen them. Savvy's use both T6 6061 aluminum next to the body and a steel outer rocker that bolts to the inner aluminum part. They are pretty much BOMBPROOF and far stronger than my previous steel rocker guards. The pics show my previous TJ stolen two years ago, I'm running the same setup on my replacement TJ.
I kept the natural color on my previous TJ but they are black on my current TJ. Those are Savvy Offroad aluminum corner guards by the way.

I went with a local company Sinsister Fabworks. They bolt to the side and bottom of tub. I just got them so haven't "leaned" on them yet but they are sturdy and well attached. There are a lot of similar designs. The ones that are frame mounted and not pressed against the tub can bend and actually do more or as much damage as not having them. That's my thought anyway. Others with more actual experience with them should be along.

|marlboroman||I dont plan on going mudding in this rig mostly trails n rocks so i guess looking for impact resistance. Most of what ive seen so far seems to bolt onto the body panels under the door just doesnt seem like that would be a sturdy anchor point.|

|DevilDogDoc||Are you pounding on the tub while wheeling, or just going cruising for smoothies? What you get depends on what you need them for....|

indecision on sides
idk why but i seem to be strugling with what to put on the rockers as far as protection goes. Seen some that go a few inches down, seen some that go a few inches up, and seen some that go a few inches out. I just dont know what to get but getting something is a must.
maybe one of yall out there can help me decide on what way to lean, pics of the rockers would be nice but most the time a name will work.
and yes my spelling is horrible and i said yall, but hey i have a blk wrangler (with no name)
