transmission noise

i didnt search, i am too pissed.

i just got my tj back from an extensive transmission / clutch / transfer case / rebuild.

anyways, its making a weird noise when i let off the throttle in always 5th and usually 4th gear. when im at freeway speed (in 5th and 4th gear) and i take my foot off the gas, the first half second of my foot coming off the throttle, i get that weird noise.

its a grinding kind of sound. almost similar to if you try to shift gears without having the clutch in all the way. kinda a gear on gear sound... but NOT as loud and decisive. im almost sure its coming from the tranny, but cant be certain.

could it be a drive line issue?

im stuck! im gonna take it back to the place i had the work done obviously, but i want some sort of knowledge going in.
