j0nx Yes, audio installers can do it easily. Alpine makes a small amp that wires right up but any amp can work. There is no line in for amps on the stock systems but you can use a LOC or do speaker level inputs.

adding amp and speakers

Can I add amp and aftermarket speakers to factory Nav/radio in 2012 JKUR??

Instead of ordering a Unlimited Rubi I found a Rubi with the Nav already in it. Can I add an aftermarket amp an speakers to it for a jamming system????

I initially was going to order an Unlimited rubicon without the Nav and change entire stereo system out, but my local dealer said if I didn't order one he would give me one with a Nav in it for the same price so he could get incentives for a unit already on the lot. i am okay with that but i have some nis=ce equipment I want to replace the factory stuff with but wouldn't mind keeping the factory head unit and just adding Arc audio amp, Focal speakers and CDT audiophile sub. Would that work with factory head unit????
