|ChiliJeep||Hey is there any concern of setting off the airbags when removing a front bumper on the TJ?|

I use a normal socket wrench and a pipe(for leverage).
Get rid of those cruddy Hex bolts and get some actual bolts(easier to take off In the future and less chance of it stripping).

|Jerry Bransford||There are two pairs of T-55 Torx-head bolts on top and one T-55 Torx-head bolt on each side on the very bottom. Remove those six bolts and the bumper will pull straight off. Sears carries the T-55 Torx bit adapter you need which fits onto a 3/8" drive ratchet wrench. If the bolts are tight, use a 3/8" to 1/2" adapter and use your 1/2" drive ratchet wrench instead.|

|BLK00TJ||PB Blaster, maybe a little heat from a propane torch, 24" breaker bar, a big arm, maybe some help. Any one of those or combo of them. I'm a little old fat man so opted for the 24" breaker bar and had them off on no time. 2 bolts on the top of each frame rail and one underneath. Both bolts are big 'ole torx bolts so to make it easier replace them with grade 8s from HD or Lowes and use antiseize on the new ones.|
