jeff_in_rc So Jodfie, how goes the cards? Do you have a sample you can post a pic of? I am still interested.

BTW did you contact ADMIN as suggested? Just curious to see if you can use the Wrangler Forum URL or if they don't want you to.

Token-MSJ FWIW, the card idea WILL work.. My local Jeep Club started in Oct 2006 with 7 folks sitting around a campfire at Superlift Offroad Park.. They had 500 4x6 post cards made up from VistaPrint for the cost of shipping.. Since then we've graduated to custom made cards (one of our members is a printer) and since then we've put over 5000 cards on the streets..

We currently have about 180 dues paying club members in the Memphis area and we had about 130 folks show up at the 5th Anniversary Ride at Superlift this past October..

saltwaterwop I've had a few people walk up to me in the neighborhood area when getting Gas for the Harley asking to ride but never the jeep..

I usually also try to park next to motorcycles whenever possible so they can chat together about whatever it is motorcycles talk about when alone.

Con Artist Personally, I'd just approach someone while gassing up at the station and start a conversation about Jeeps...not leave anything.

Coastiejeep So most the time you would "card somebody" would be at the store, gas station, work, ect. Most of these places you could wait a min or two and the owner would come out, then hand them a card. Maybe make a friend or shake a hand or two. And for the places that you would be inside for awhile, park next to them as we all do now lol and put a few cards on your Jeep. Let them take one from you, because we all check out the Jeep parked next to you anyways. So you dont mess with there Jeep and if they are interested they can call you.

"Touch my stuff, and I'll kill you. Any of you HOMOS call me Francis, and I'll kill you." "Lighten up, Francis!" Hahahaha...great movie!
It was a sad, sad day when John Candy died...

Residue from the string next to stained my old soft top. Took forever to clean and still didn't get some random spots. I put pepperoni on hers. Lol. Good old days.

Now that's funny! No harm, no foul.

A while back I wrapped my dad's car in toilet paper.

Seriously though, stickers piss me off. Our local car wash taped down the windshield wiper on my wife's car with electrical tape, and do ya think that shit came off? HELL, NO! It was nearly impossible to get the residue off her trunklid!

GoldenSahara00 I think it depends on the person. Some people don't like people touching their things and they have their reasons. Some people appreciate the friendliness. Personally I would be okay with a friendly note left under my wiper. Anything more I wouldn't appreciate. That's just me.

I have smacked kids around for messing with my jeep before. Be assured I would lay you on your ass of I caught you messing with my jeep. But everything is situational. I don't believe in over reacting to small things.

Con Artist Do I really sense some major tension over the best methods of producing something to "spam" other peoples' cars with?

Personally, while I agree the intention is to be friendly, and regardless if the note is complimentary, I'd still be taken aback by someone leaving things on my car. I'm more inclined to be a bit annoyed more so than excited about it.
