ofwiv I ordered some new 17x9 KMC XD 122 Enduro wheels in solid black with some Mastercraft 33" tires for my 2014 Billet Silver JK Unlimited. They are being installed tomorrow!

BRUT4CE So had some time and money out on a job right now had to do something to kill some time and wanted it to be something needed..

Made some reinforced 3/16" rear lower control arm mounts to weld over mashed stock ones...

Made 3/16" plate mounts for lower control arms...along with a skid...the backplate isn't in the pic...forgot about it on table..



This side was good back side was crumpled in and other side was mashed heavily


Boxxed in the rear upper as well, there will be a triangular gusset going downwards added.


Plated the lower heavily ground off the stock angled at frame and burnt this in


And here's a shot on...
Got some RCV's from a buddy so finally slapped em in...





Slapped the rear carrier back in and added a bar on top that will also be a LOW profile rack that rotates up to allow tops off and on easily.

WranglerChik Don't know if I posted this before, but I'm gonna do it again anyway (hmph)

Plastidipped the grill red and the hooks. New steel bumper (going to get the bars after I do the suspension).

Realized way later that I didn't even have to tape the stupid billet! Doh!

I have a manual and currently running 33's with 3.21's, it's not bad but I want more gear.

If yiu ever wheel you'll wish for that lift. Then cones 35's and then 3.5 inch lift then 37's

If you have an automatic I would be curious to know what you think. I run 35's with 3.73's and thought it wasn't that bad until I spent 9 hours driving through the mountains from Twin Falls to Coeur d'Alene. Now I can't wait.

Mines the one that says Yeti Edition on the hood on the right side of the pic. The other 2 are running 315/70/17's with 3 inch lifts. I know side by side they are taller, but proportions look identicle with a smaller tire and no lift...

Don't forget about the break-over angle too. Lift will only help. Enjoy

With the lift, you would gain clearance inside the wheel well. This would keep you from scrubbing the tires up top if you are flexing the suspension off road.

2013 gecko Had my buddy who owns a performance shop order new gears today, going with 4.56's. Was going to order from a vendor but by going through him I got a unbeatable price on both parts and labor.

Also ordered a SPod for the LED lights I'm going to order soon.

It all depends on how u like it. If ur not doing any hard stuff and ur not bottoming out or stuffing the tires in the fenders I would leave it. $50 is a little bit to lose now than spend on a lift and regret it later.

Dusthol I changed her oil n filters. Vacuumed and wiped the dirt out of the inside. Took her to lunch so she could be social with others. But all the other vehicles were intimated by her so she sat all alone.

DF Jeep After 2 JKU's in 6 years I finally installed a rear seat recline kit for my kids. They are a little upset because at 18 and 16 they are almost never with me anymore. Haha!
