hard shifting into gear and noise from clutch

I have a 99 wrangler with a factory 5 speed,in the last week or so I've noticed that it was hard going into gear and a chattering noise from clutch. When backing outof my driveway I have my foot on the clutch pedal all the way down to the floor and it gets noisy and feels like it wants to pull as if I was releasing the clutch.Im wondering is my slave cylinder or clutch master cylinder? Other wise the clutch grabs at the right time and shifts fine when Im driving.I would appreciate any help with this problem
