|eboven||Yep, that will not work. You could plug the GPS's headphone audio output (if it has one) into the radio's AUX input. That would allow you to hear the turn by turn directions through your Jeep's speakers. You wouldn't be able to listen to music at the same time though, the music interrupt for voice prompts would not work.|

As long as vehicle manufacturers are trying to sell their nav systems they are not going to enable pairing up portable systems to work in integrated manner like their own. Chrysler has a deal with Panasonic and Roadmate for their built in nav product. All you have to do is look at the price they get.
If we could buy a bluetooth GPS, pair it up, and have it interface like a cellphone with uconnect then who would buy their built in system ?? I doubt you can find any vehicle like that.

Do any PORTABLE Garmins sync with uConnect for the 130?
I got my '12 JKU with the 130 radio because I like to be able to take my GPS with me and didn't want all the bells and whistles or expense of the in-dash nav system. With as good as the uConnect system interfaces with my iPod and iPhone, I'm wondering if there are any stand-alone Garmin units that will sync with Voice Command via uConnect?
Other options I'm missing?
