I prefer the soft side windows. The sliders IMO don't offer a lot of opening for tolls, drive in ATM's and that sort of stuff.
I think you'te making a good choice with the Supertop NX. Thats my next soft top.

i believe i answered my own question...i think this fits what i'm looking for.
Bestop® Supertop® NX Soft Top with Upper Door Sliders and Tinted Windows for 97-06 Jeep® Wrangler TJ - Quadratec
the only thing i am wondering now is your opinions on the upper doors. should i get the sliders? or the zippers? i like the sliders since theyre easier and more convenient, but the zippers might be easier to just throw in the back when i fold down the top. thoughts?? again, my goal is to have a good soft top that i can remove/put up when the weather calls for it. and be able to store all the stuff on hand

Best SoftTop to buy
Hey, so right now i have a 98 tj with half doors, a two piece hardtop, and hard upper doors w/sliders. I'm thinking about getting a softop, but want something that is easy to take on and off when the weather suddenly turns poor. Do they make soft tops that you can "roll up" and keep in the bed or behind the rear seats, and then quickly put back on when it rains? I just hate the hassle of making sure i get the hard top on before it rains. I am also guessing i would need to buy soft upper doors as well. Any recommendations that would fit my needs? I like the style of this..
