WXman The stock 16" steel wheels on mine are 5.75" BS. I measured them properly again the other day to confirm.

desertgoose I think the stock rims are 6" iirc. Ideal backspacing on jk's should be 3.75-4.5"

Stock Backspacing on JK 16's

Does anyone know what the stock backspacing is on an 07 wrangler? I just purchased some rims with 4" backspacing and i now realize i may not have enough clearance. i need to stick out a minimum of 1.5 inches further than I was before to clear the new tires from rubbing. so I am hoping the stock backspacing is 5.5" or more. anyone know?
