make sure your airbox (air filter container) is intact and you arent asperating heated air from the engine compartment.
As stated above, cool air expands more during combustion (more power) and warm air expands less (less power).
If your intake is breathing hot air from the engine compartment..as the engine warms up...the surrounding air gets hotter...expands less during combustion...you get less power.
No. Im not advocating the Cold Air Intake gimmicks....just make sure what you have is connected properly.

|jgorm||ITs common on most vehicles. The air is denser, and most ECUs will add timing when the coolant temp is below about 40-150 depending on the engine and brand. But its not good to beat on cold engines! Let the pistons expand for good ring seal.|

|Donkerz||Could be a cracked head causing low compression when warm since the crack expands, check stamp on side of engine and see if it's the ll-fated 0331 that cracks almost certainly between 50-100k miles. good luck|

Jeep accelerates faster when cold?
I've started to notice my jeep actually accelerates/pulls itself much faster cold then when the engine is warmed up, then when it warms up it feels noticeably slower. Has anyone else experienced this before?/could it be foreshadowing a mechanical issue? -1999 Wrangler sport, I6 manual
