jpdocdave go fuel injection, well worth the money, or look into 4.0 head swap, or 4.0 all together.

Carburetor Problems

Now initially you may think i am talking about the stock carburetor, however that was long gone before i owned this jeep. My problem is that the replaced carburetor has excellent power, however, i get about 5-6 mpg. This is a 1989 jeep wrangler YJ and i heard from someone that a Holley 2-barrel 390 cfm carburetor would work well, and get decent gas mileage. However I'm not sure if that is compatible, can any of you help please? Thanks for reading this and any help would be much much appreciated.
