Wattapunk Should work. Lightly sand the bolts then brush a few light coats on. Those bolts are in an area that don't get abuse often to get the paint to scrape off.

Touch-up paint on body bolts?

I'm replacing a few body colored hinges with black Kentrol hinges. I thought it would give the finished work a more unique look. This is also hoping that I can get the Torx bolts out without decimating the paint already on them.

However, the hood hinges already have black bolts. Can I use touch-up paint to change the bolts to the Jeep's color? I'm not sure if the touch-up paint would work as well on an unpainted/untreated surface the same way it does on a nick or scrape on actual body paint.

I figure if it doesn't work, I'll already have newer bolts ready to go with the hinge kit I've got waiting for me at home.

Thinking about using Mopar touch-up for the job (Solar Yellow, for the record).

Thanks in advance!
