It's great, especially in closed circuit rebreathers. Technical diving is very, well, technical. There is a lot of logistics to it. On a regular cave dive (2-3 hours, and without rebreathers) we would carry 6 tanks of breathing gases and an additional tank of argon for our drysuits. We carry 2 on our backs (bottom gases) and 2 under each arm (sling bottles...travel gases). Usually we'll stage a couple of BIG bottles of O2 at our final deco stop for our extended stop. That's when I break out the Rubik's Cube and go to town on that sucker for close to an hour or more.

If diving in the ocean on a tech dive, we'll blow a bag and drift deco with the current. The chase boat will follow our lift bag with the strobe. We usually do deep ocean dives at night. Makes it more fun and it's easier for the chase boat to follow our bag. We'll see more critters that way too. Night brings out the predators...

I'm landlocked at the moment, but plan to move back to Florida sometime in the next year or so. Depends on what the aviation industry looks like down there when I'm ready to leave Kansas...which is ANYTIME now! Hahaha...

Jeep test of GoPro Camera - YouTube

This was taken not too far from my business. I took the railroad trail to an arroyo and found the washed out fence and gate repaired in a serious manner and I had to backtrack and take the main roads. Once in the arroyo I found portions destroyed by backhoes removing sand. Still a fun half hour.

Edit:

OK, how do you embed the vid in the post?
